Road safety

On 14 January 2016 a personal meeting was held in Berlin with the member of the German Bundestag Mr Gero Storjohann and Mr Michael Jursch, the chairman of the executive board of TIV. Mr Storjohann is among other things an expert for road safety and, based on this background, a spokesman of the Transport Committee of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group

The content of the meeting included the presentation of the TIV and its goals, the topics of the individual TIV working groups, and the discussion of the possibilities of collaboration, in particular of the interchange of information with the responsible, legislative bodies. At this opportunity the board was able to persuade Mr Storjohann to make an exciting speech at the forthcoming meeting of members for 2016.
